NGOs Touching Lives With ‘Clothe The Needy Outreach’

Give Me Hope Foundation in collaboration with Glimmer of Hope Foundation and supporting partner Microwatch has reached out to Torgome community and its environs with thousands of clothes to put smiles in their faces for the Christmas season. The project dubbed “Clothe The Needy ”, the much-talked-about charity programme for underprivileged.

The program, the ‘Clothe The Needy Outreach’ programme was fun-packed with so many free activities including; free clothes , mentorships, food, drink bazar and as well as entertainment.

Wisdom Dordoe, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Give Me Hope Foundation in an interview with noted that the NGOs came together as partners to make impacts as they determined to put smiles in the face of the less privileged, restore hopes and inspire young children to greatness.

He added the community with high rate of school dropout and teenage pregnancy led to the foundation putting up resources to support them back to school and provide vocational skills for those who cannot go back to classroom.
Over 300 children who were not in school or were school drop-outs were registered during the program and plans underway to get them back to school and provide the necessary support when schools reopened.

Chief of the community, who congratulated the various NGOs for the kind gesture appealed to other NGOs, Corporate Bodies and Institutions to come to the aid of the less privileged in society to provide education for children and put some smiles on their faces.

Wisdom Dordoe He expressed gratitude to the entire team for giving out their best in seeing the project through and not forgetting their donors.
