In efforts to enhance the prevention of the novel COVID-19 global pandemic, the Asene Manso Akroso District Assembly has outline new directives to prevent residents from contracting the virus in the district.
The new directives, instituted by the District Public Health Emergency Committee to enhance the combat of the coronavirus pandemic includes the following,
1. A ban on the opening of all drinking spots and pubs withing the district, effective Thursday 14th May, 2020 until further notice.
2. Compulsory wearing of nose masks by all and sundry at all public places, starting Thursday 14th May, 2020.
3. Ensuring social distancing in public and private vehicles and on motor bikes. (not more than two people).
It should be noted that, the above directives takes immediate effect and has been signed by the District Chief Executive, Hon. Alex Incoom.
The public are therefore notified that, failure to adhere the above directives will attract the necessary sanctions.
