Social and Economic Interventions Programmes
1. Awarded full scholarship to 36 Tertiary students under the Asene Akroso Manso Education and Social Intervention Fund
2. Supported over 40 youth in vocational training across the district.
3. Over 80 tertiary students have benefited from the District Scholarship Scheme.
4. About 200 students from both pre tertiary and tertiary institutions have received financial assistance under the District Assembly Common Fund and the MPs share of the District Assembly Common Fund.
5. Over 200 People With Disabilities have been supported with start up capitals to improve their standard of living.
6. Over 500 small scale businesses have been supported with Masloc Loans
7. Over 150,000 seedlings of oil Palm have been distributed to farmers free of charge under the planting for export and rural development programme
8. 44 basic schools with over 12,000 pupils are benefiting from the School Feeding programme.
9. Over 1,000 youth have been employed under the various modules of Youth Employment Programme.
10. Over 1,000 youth have gained employment under GES, GHS, Army, Police, Fire Service, Customs, Immigration, Prisons, COCOBOD, Local government, Railways, NABCO
11. Over 2000 Electricity meters have been distributed to the citizens at a subsidized rate by MP.
12. Over 1,500 street lights have been installed across the District.
13. Supplied and Distributed over 5000 teachers and students table and chairs as well as mono and dual desks to selected basic schools and SH
