The NDC Eastern Regional Chairman, Dr. Mark Oliver Kevor, together with the Eastern Regional Minister Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey and the Akyem Swedru Constituency NDC Chairman Mr. Kofi Mintah have broken ground for Akyem Swedru Constituency’s new ultra-modern office.
The three-story building will replace the temporary office they’ve used since 1992.
Contributions are pouring in: Regional executives pledged 200 bags of cement, Constituency Chairman Mr. Kofi Mintah and family donated Gh50,000, with others promising support.
The NDC’s Eastern Regional Chairman, Dr. Mark Oliver Kevor, in an interview with the Media after the ceremony says they’ll build befitting party offices across the region.
He noted that the party’s 34 years old and it’s time to upgrade their spaces.
He’s calling on NDC faithful to contribute to the project, alongside regional executives.
Akyem Swedru Constituency Chairman, Mr. Kofi Mintah, says the current office is temporary and they’ve been using it since 1992.
They’re building a three-story edifice with office and commercial spaces, leaving a legacy for future generations.
