The Chief Executive Officer of Akyem Oda Kotoku Royals Mr Linford Boadu Asamoah has won an election to serve on the new Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association position.
Mr.Linford Baodu Asamoah who just retire Nana Budu in the Eastern Regional Football Association election to become the Chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association secure one of the two slots allocated to Regional Football Association after gaining more vote in the election which was held in the Ghana Football Association Secretariat.
Mr.Robert Duncan and Mr. Salifu Zida had 3 vote each so there was a tie and per Ghana Football Association article 30 clause 8 there should be a re-election for the two so that one of them will occupy the other one slot left.
Tomorrow Friday 25, October 2019 has been set for the run off election.
