“NGO’s MUST HELP SOLVE PROBLEMS IN REMOTE AREAS RATHER THAN OPERATING MORE IN CITIES FOR RECOGNITION”….CEO OF KIDS-AID GH

The chief executive officer for a Non Governmental Organization called “KIDS-AID GH”; Miss Sandra Adjei has admonished all NGO’s operating mostly in the cities to move into the remote areas where their service is urgently needed instead of operating in the cities for recognition.

She divulged that most remote areas in the country lack many social amenities which the government alone can not provide because of other areas of the country’s economy which requires financial support.

Miss Sandra Adjei added that most institutions especially schools and health centers in remote areas lack many things which the NGO’s can assist, hence they must move into those areas instead of operating in the developed cities and living the burden on government alone.

She said this during her NGO’s donation of valuable items worth thousands of cedis to the pupils of Suponso D/A primary and Junior High school in the Asene, Manso, Akroso district of Eastern region.

Items donated by the KIDS-AID GH includes; school uniforms, branded school text books, mathematical sets, pens, pencils, erasers, nose masks and sanitizers for covid prevention.

The headmistress for Suponso primary and JHS; Mrs. Philomena Gyan speaking to the media after receiving the items thanked the CEO for “KIDS-AID GH” for the items which arrived at the right time and appealed to the contractor building their new school to work faster because they are not comfortable in their old building as people defecate in their classrooms after school hours since there are no doors and windows on the building.
