Graduates, the world awaiting you is full of opportunities, but also full of challenges. You will meet situations that will test your resolve and tempt you toward social vices. I urge you to resist such temptations. Stay away from harmful influences, avoid bad company, and steer clear of behaviours that might destroy your future. Social vices may seem appealing in the moment, but they only lead to regret and wasted potential.
Instead, focus on your goals. Focus on what you want to achieve, on who you want to become, and on how you will make your family, your school, and your country proud. Surround yourselves with positive influences, mentors, and friends who will lift you higher. Keep your dreams alive by working on them every single day.
As you confront the world, remember that challenges are part of life. Do not fear them confronting them. Face them with courage, with the confidence that the education you have received here has prepared you well. Use your knowledge wisely, continue learning, and always be willing to adapt, ” he hinted.
