
The District Chief Executive of Asene Manso Akroso District, Hon. Eric Ahinakwa, has fulfilled a promise to reward high-achieving Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the district.
Key Highlights of the Initiative.
Eleven Candidates with aggregate scores of 6 to 9 received 1 HP laptops, student mattresses, and pillows each.
Those with aggregate scores of 10 to 15 were given chop boxes, student mattresses, and pillows.
Hon. Eric Ahinakwa reminded students that this gesture marks the beginning of their educational journey.
He encouraged them to stay focused, disciplined, and committed, emphasizing that education is key to unlocking their potential and contributing meaningfully to society.
The DCE urged students to study hard for a brighter future and advised parents and children not to sell the laptops, but to use them for studying.
The District’s Educational Director called on stakeholders to support the education system in the district, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to enhance educational outcomes.
The students commended Hon. Ahinakwa for his kindness and promised to use the laptops responsibly for their studies.
