
The District Chief Executive for Asene‑Manso‑Akroso in the Eastern Region, Hon. Eric Ahinakwa, has broken ground for three school‑building projects aimed at improving access to quality education.
Construction will begin in the communities of Aworoso‑Kwamena, Nyamebekyere and Apinto.
In Aworoso‑Kwamena a two‑unit kindergarten classroom block will be erected; Nyamebekyere will receive a six‑unit primary school block; and Apinto will get a three‑unit junior high school block.
Hon. Eric Ahinakwa speaking to the media stressed the urgency of these projects for effective teaching and learning, noting the government’s timely intervention to support the children.
Asene‑Manso‑Akroso’s Director of Education, Mr. Danwi Amadagbi Heyford, said the new facilities will boost educational quality and pledged to continue pressing the government and the DCE for further development.
Community chiefs in the three areas thanked the government and the DCE for the initiatives and called for additional projects to meet local needs.
