Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu Commends Obuobi Mpaboa For Promoting Quality Made-In-Ghana Footwear

The President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has lauded the efforts of Ghanaian footwear brand Obuobi Mpaboa for producing high-quality locally made slippers and contributing to the growth of indigenous entrepreneurship.

The commendation came when the Chief Executive Officer of Obuobi Mpaboa, Mr. Kofi Obuobi, paid a courtesy visit to the Afro-Arab Group office in Accra and presented a pair of the company’s Ghana-made slippers to Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu.

Receiving the gift, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu expressed admiration for the craftsmanship and quality of the product, describing it as a clear reflection of the dedication and hard work being invested in the brand.

“This young man is doing a great job. The quality of the slippers speaks for itself. It is encouraging to see young entrepreneurs producing such excellent Made-in-Ghana products. We must continue to support and promote local businesses because they play a vital role in creating jobs and driving economic growth,” he said.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, who also serves as the Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development, has consistently championed youth empowerment through various initiatives aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs, creating employment opportunities, and promoting sustainable livelihoods across the country.

Expressing his appreciation for the recognition, Mr. Kofi Obuobi thanked Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu for the encouragement and support he continues to offer young people pursuing their dreams.

“This is what genuine support looks like, and I am deeply grateful for the kind words from Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu. He has always demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting young people and empowering them to succeed,” Mr. Obuobi stated.

He further noted that he has personally witnessed several impactful initiatives spearheaded by Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu in communities such as Nima, Maamobi, Accra New Town, and Ashaiman, among others.

“I have seen firsthand the numerous activities and interventions he has undertaken to uplift young people in various communities. His dedication to youth development is inspiring and deserves commendation,” he added.

The interaction highlighted the importance of supporting local enterprises and encouraging young entrepreneurs whose innovations and determination continue to contribute significantly to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
