The District Chief Executive for Asene Manso Akroso District, Hon. Eric Ahinakwa, is set to officially distribute a range of assistive items and startup equipment to registered Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in the district.
The distribution exercise will take place at the forecourt of the Asene Manso Akroso District Assembly on Wednesday, 9th September, 2026, at exactly 10:00 AM.
The initiative is aimed at empowering PWDs economically and enhancing their mobility and livelihoods. The items are expected to support beneficiaries to start their own businesses and improve their living conditions.
Beneficiaries and community members are expected to gather at the Assembly forecourt as local authorities roll out the program.
Hon. Ahinakwa has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring inclusivity and improving the welfare of all vulnerable groups in the district.
