Selected Ghanaian and African businesses will engage Indian investors, manufacturers and institutions in New Delhi from 15–23 November 2026

HanyPay Ghana Ltd, in strategic collaboration with Visions Ahead Foundation, India, has announced The Ghana–India Project 2026: High-Level Trade and Investment Mission, scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India, from 15 to 23 November 2026.

Under the theme, “Connecting Ghanaian Institutions and Businesses with Indian Markets, Investors and Industries,” the mission seeks to create practical commercial opportunities between Ghana, the wider HanyPay ecosystem and India.

The initiative will promote the export of Ghanaian and African products to India, the importation of suitable Indian products, joint ventures, strategic investments, technology and knowledge transfer, distributorships, agency agreements, public-private partnerships and trade-finance cooperation.

It will also support the onboarding of verified buyers, suppliers and manufacturers onto HANY Market, HanyPay’s digital marketplace serving businesses across Africa and other international markets.

High-Level Institutional and Business Participation

The mission is targeting ministries, government agencies, Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, state-owned enterprises, banks, financial institutions, chambers of commerce, professional bodies and major private-sector organisations.

Participation is also open for consideration to export-ready manufacturers, producers, importers, distributors, credible project promoters and investors with the institutional and financial capacity to enter partnerships with Indian companies.

Priority sectors include agriculture and agro-processing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, infrastructure and construction, renewable energy, water and sanitation, transport, food processing, technology, fintech, education, tourism, hospitality, media, logistics, warehousing, textiles, leather products, industrial machinery and manufacturing.

Structured Business Engagements

The programme will feature high-level government and institutional engagements, a Ghana–India Trade and Investment Forum, customised business-to-business meetings, investor presentations, factory visits, product-sourcing engagements and discussions on banking and trade finance.

Participating organisations will also have opportunities to explore memoranda of understanding, letters of intent, distributorship agreements, supply contracts, joint ventures and other commercial partnerships.

Business matchmaking will be customised according to each selected organisation’s company profile, products, projects, investment objectives and preferred areas of cooperation.

Participation Strictly by Invitation. The organisers have emphasised that the mission is an invitation-led business programme and not a general travel package.

Interested organisations must submit a credible company profile, details of their products or services, their country of operation, a specific business or project proposal and clearly defined import, export, investment or partnership objectives.

Applications will be reviewed and profiled before invitations are issued. Only qualified, credible and transaction-ready companies will receive a response and proceed to the next stage.

Special Consideration for the HanyPay Community

As part of HanyPay’s broader agenda to ensure that businesses within its international ecosystem are not excluded from global opportunities, companies operating in HanyPay’s partner countries may also submit proposals for special consideration.

This opportunity is intended for businesses seeking to export to India, source products from India, secure distributorships, establish joint ventures, attract investment, access technology or enter strategic partnerships with Indian firms.

Special consideration does not guarantee selection. Every applicant will be assessed on its operational credibility, institutional capacity, commercial readiness and relevance to identified Indian partners.

The CEO of HanyPay Ghana Ltd, Prof. Hugh Aryee, said the project is intended to move Ghana–India relations beyond introductions and discussions towards measurable commercial outcomes.“Our objective is to connect credible and transaction-ready businesses with the appropriate Indian investors, manufacturers, buyers and institutions. We want the mission to produce sustainable partnerships, purchase orders, distributorships, investment agreements, technology transfer and long-term trade relationships.”
