New Striker Boateng Joins Black Stars At Training

Newly found Spain-based Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Boateng has officially joined the Black Stars who are training at the Legon Presec Park ahead of the double header friendlies with Japan and Iceland.

The hat trick hero joined his colleagues on the backdrop of his giant killing feat in the Spanish La Liga having dispatched FC Barcelona in the penultimate of the Liga campaign.

The former Tema Youth sensation was spotted partaking in the training session alongside his colleagues.

The Ghanaian forward stole the European limelight with a first ever La Liga hatrick against FC Barcelona in 13 years.

He will be leading the line for James Kwesi Appiah’s men in the two friendly games against Japan and Iceland next week.

The Black Stars will face the two opponents who will use the games to prepare for the World Cup next month in Russia.

Ghana will also use the games as part of preparations for their upcoming 2019 AFCON qualifying games which will come off later this year.
