There was total fear among members of the New Apostolic Church in Swedru during a marriage ceremony when a drainage constructed beside the Church over flooded its banks after a downpour.
Residents of the community, including members of the Church who briefed the media said since the construction of the drainage about fifteen years ago by a local contractor, they have always lived on the edge of fear, anytime it rains.
Inspection at the drainage showed visible cracks on the culverts, creating deep erosion under the car ark of the church, as well as the church.
Information later by newsghana.com indicate that the Church has petitioned the Agona West Municipal Assembly to the effect, but their petition seem to have fallen on deaf ears, as the Assembly has refused to their plight.
