The Agona Nyakrom Circuit Minister of the Musama Disco Christo Church, Rev. Gladys Aryee has condemned what she described as abuse and misuse of anointing oil by some pastors.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Rev. Aryee expressed concern about the way some pastors sell anointing oils at exorbitant prices to their unsuspecting congregation, contrary to the guidance and principles of the Bible.
According to her, the development is gradually becoming a norm in most Churches, saying it is unacceptable.
She hinted that rather, anointing oil is one of the commodities requires by the Bible to be used to ordain ministers and also to be used for healing purposes without any charge, and has therefore warned pastors who sell them at exorbitant prices to their unsuspecting congregation to desist from the practice.
