Abdoulaye “ABD” Traore, CEO of the leading Pan-African entertainment channel WatsUp TV, who is currently in Washington, DC to explore new business opportunities and has taken the chance to join the DMV Party in the Park.
Organized by Star Buzz Media, this event has rapidly become a summer highlight, now in its third year.
The DMV Party in the Park has established itself as a must-attend event, drawing crowds from DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
This year’s festival was a grand celebration of Ghanaian culture in the US, featuring top artists like Gyakie, Kwesi Arthur, Joey B, Sefa, Givtti, Kofi Mole, and popular DJs such as DJ Aroma, Mic Smith, Teabee, Kwamz Original, and K Crakk.
The event offered live music, dance performances, family-friendly activities, and a bustling marketplace with diverse vendors.
WatsUp TV provided extensive coverage, bringing the vibrant festivities to a global audience through live broadcasts, exclusive interviews, and behind-the-scenes content. “We are thrilled to be part of the DMV Party in the Park this year,” said Abdoulaye Traore. “Our goal is to bring the best of African entertainment to a global audience, and this event is a perfect opportunity.”
In addition to the live performances, attendees enjoyed DJ sets, a fashion show, games, food vendors, and arts and crafts stalls. The DMV Party in the Park was held at The BullPen DC, 1201 Half Street SE, Washington, DC 20003, on July 14th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
