The elders of Abese Adonten of La Ttraditional Area have called on the general public to disregard the publication that appeared on page 40 of the Tuesday, January, 30, 2018 edition of the Daily Graphic also on page 16 of the Wednesday, January 31, 2018 edition of the Daily Guide and page 14 of the Wednesday, January 31, 2018 edition of the Ghanaian Times.
The said publication is under the caption La Traditional Council Public Notice said to have been issued by the Traditional Council.

RE: PUBLIC NOTICE
ABOUT NII KWADE OKROPONG I ABESE ADONTEN DIVISIONAL MANTSE-REJOINDER
We the Elders of the Abese Adonten Division of the La Traditional Area wishes to inform the general public that the publication that appeared on page 16 of the Wednesday, January 31, 2018 edition of the Daily Guide under the caption La Traditional Council Public Notice, said to have been issued by the La Traditional Council should be disregarded. The reasons are as follows:
Nii Kwade Okropong l is the Abese Adonten Divisional Mantse of the La Traditional Area and having gone through all the due processes necessary for the installation of a Mantse for the Division and in Consonance with the customary rites of the people of La and the Chieftaincy Act, 2008 Act 759. He was accordingly outdoored on 23rd May 2015.
He remains the one and only substantive Abese Adonten Divisional Mantse and has continuously performed all his functions and responsibilities without any legitimate hindrance or a challenge to his status by anybody or group of people.
In conclusion, his rule has brought peace, tranquillity and transparency to the good people of Abese Adonten Traditional Area of La and beyond.
