The African Faith Tabernacle Church has condemned what it says are some negative issues affecting the Christianity religion.
The Gomoa District Area Dep. Pastor of the Church, Rev. Nguresi Eshun has accused pastors of failing to live up to expectation by neglecting their responsibilities as shepherds of humanity.
He expressed regret how some pastors who have established television station have allowed fetish priest and magicians to usetheir stations to propagate their nefarious activities to sway the unsuspecting public from the word of God.
He also condemned pastors for failing to preach about salvation, and rather choose to preach about prosperity an miracles.
In another development, the minister in charge of the Church at AgonaSwedru, Prophet Isaac Donkor (aka Egya Fire) has admonished pastors to learn to serve, rather than to be served.
According to him, that is the true essence of the principles of Christianity.
He gave the admonishing at the sod-cutting for the construction of a new church auditorium at a cost of over GH 1, 000,000.00 Cedis.
The auditorium when completed would contain an office, wash room, visitor’s lounge and a sick bay for people with various infirmities.
