Members of the Kwanyako Ward of the National Democratic Congress has presented a cow in support of the funeral of the late mother of Hon Queenstar Maame Pokua Sawyerr, the MP for Agona East Constituency.
In the presentation, the Ward Coordinator Mr. Alex Ampofo Sannie said, in their own small way that was how they wanted to mourn with their MP who has been supportive of them and also as a sign of respect to her late mother.
Mr. Sannie added that it is also in support of their MP to give her mother a befitting funeral.
Mr. Sannie also prayed to God to grant their mother eternal peace.
He further encouraged the MP to continue to support the poor and vulnerable in the constituency.
Hon Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr, the MP for Agona East Constituency thanked them for their show of love.
She promised to continue supporting the needy and vulnerable in society.
