
Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, Member of Parliament for Akim Oda Constituency, has organized mock examinations for 1,494 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates from 42 Junior High Schools in the Birim Central Municipality.
This initiative aims to assess students’ readiness for the national exams and alleviate financial burdens on parents.
Hon. Acquah encouraged students to take their studies seriously, approach exams with integrity, and assured them of his continued support.
He also plans to distribute mathematical sets to the candidates. The Municipal Education Director commended the initiative, urging teachers to intensify efforts in preparing students.
Hon. Aaron Donkoh, Chairman of the Alexander Akwasi Acquah Educational Committee, emphasized the crucial role of parents in their children’s academic success, encouraging them to support disciplined study habits and provide a conducive learning environment at home.
Mrs. Gloria Aggrey Kelson, District Education Director, commended the MP for organizing the mock exams, noting that they would help students prepare for their final BECE exams and urging teachers to support their students.
