Akyem Asuboa Receives Ultra-Modern Health Facility Courtesy of Mr. Evans Ofosu Amoah’s Philanthropy

Philanthropist Mr. Evans Ofosu Amoah has commissioned an ultra-modern health facility for Akyem Asuboa in the Asene Manso Akroso District, Eastern Region.

The facility, named after his mother Mad. Gladys Akua Effaah, boasts modern hospital equipment to provide quality healthcare services.

Mr. Amoah revealed that his decision to build the facility came after visiting the old chip compound, which left him disappointed.

Initially, he intended to upgrade the existing facility, but the chiefs advised him to build a new one.

However, he faced challenges acquiring land, as some owners refused to give up their property.

During the commissioning, Mr. Amoah urged facility staff to take good care of the facility, promising to pay bills for two years and provide an ambulance.

Akyem Kotoku Kontehene, Obrempong Gyenfi Safro Kyere, commended Mr. Amoah, stating that his selfless act deserves applause, especially since he chose to build the facility in his father’s hometown instead of seeking personal gain elsewhere.

*Key Features of the Facility:*

– _Modern Hospital Equipment_: State-of-the-art equipment to provide quality healthcare services
– _Ambulance Service_: Mr. Amoah promised to provide an ambulance for emergency services
– _Sustainable Funding_: Mr. Amoah committed to paying facility bills for two years

Obrempong Gyenfi Safro Kyere emphasized that government alone cannot develop the country, and praised Mr. Amoah’s initiative.

Akyem Kotoku Nifahene, Obrempong Tabi Anum, noted that the facility will serve multiple communities beyond Akyem Asuboa, encouraging everyone to take ownership and care for the facility.

This philanthropic effort showcases Mr. Amoah’s dedication to community development, echoing his other notable endeavors.
