Akyem Oda MP Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah has donated Mathematical sets to final year JHS students in Akyem Oda.

The Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda Constituency, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has donated Mathematical Sets to final year Junior High School students in Akyem Oda Constituency.

The annual event which commenced in 2019 has been consistent to date.

Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, speaking to the media after the donation urged parents to pamper their children and give them hope to multivate them to write the exams and pass very.

According to the MP, sometimes, it is very disgraceful when you see pupils begging for just ruler to write their exams.


He pleaded with parents to give all necessary support needed to their wards just like how we pamper a team which is going to play a crucial match for them to be successful.

He advised parents to let their children know that their future is anchored on the exams so they should take the exams serious and write well so that they will pass very well to get their choice of school they want to attend.

Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah said if the students pass well it’s will make his work very simple but when they fail it will make his work very difficult because he has to step in and start looking for schools for the students. He admonished them to learn hard so that they can pass with flying colours and get their favorite schools.

He urged teachers to help their students learn hard in order not to find it difficult in writing the exams.

The Municipal Director of Education for Birim Central Municipality, Mrs. Elizabeth Quaye ȳthanked, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah for how supportive he has been to the Municipality.

The 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination is to give the candidates the chance to further their education next year.
The candidates are expected to write the examination on nine subjects with Social Studies paper being the first to be taken on Monday, October 17, 2022, with French Language, the last paper on Friday, October 21, 2022.
