Mrs. Linda Ahenkora, nominated as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Akyemansa District in the Eastern Region, has pledged to work with all stakeholders if confirmed by the assembly members.
As the first female DCE nominee for the district, Mrs. Ahenkora is known for her tireless work and strong activism within the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Akyemansa.
Expressing her joy and gratitude after the nomination, Mrs. Ahenkora stated that she received the news with honor and humility.
She thanked God Almighty and His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for finding her fit for the role.
She pledged to serve the people of Akyemansa with utmost commitment and ability, ensuring the effective implementation of the president’s vision for the benefit of all.
Mrs. Ahenkora expressed her appreciation to those who supported her ambition and acknowledged the camaraderie of her colleagues, including Buhari Abubakar and Joshua Assumeng Badu. She also thanked her constituency chairman, secretary, and the entire executive body.
She encouraged everyone to work together to make Akyemansa great, promising that her door is always open for discussions, strategizing, and implementing ideas to develop the district. Mrs. Ahenkora concluded by saying, “God Bless You All!”.
