
The President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has been nominated as a National Council Member of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) and a Greater Accra Regional Council Member of the Chamber.
A distinguished young business mogul, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu has made significant contributions to the private sector, nurturing and transforming many businesses. Through Afro-Arab Properties, a subsidiary of the Afro-Arab Group, he has introduced innovative foldable homes, further solidifying his impact on the real estate industry.
With his vast business expertise, he is expected to play a vital role in shaping policies, fostering business growth, and strengthening the Chamber’s initiatives at both the national and regional levels.
The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) is a leading business association that promotes trade and investment while advocating for policies that support economic growth. The Greater Accra Regional Chamber of Commerce, as a branch of the GNCCI, serves as a platform for businesses to network, collaborate, and drive commercial development in the region.
Meanwhile, the President of the GNCCI, Stephane Abbas Miezan, has called on the John Dramani Mahama-led government to use the 2025 budget to introduce incentives that will stimulate private sector growth and reset the economy. He further appealed for the budget to address the streamlining of duties at the port to enhance trade and business operations.
Speaking after his swearing-in, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu expressed gratitude to the executives of the Chamber for the recognition and pledged his full commitment to the organization.
“I’m very grateful to the executives for believing in me to serve as a council member at both the national and regional levels. Inshallah, I will serve and give my all to make the organization a great one,” he stated.
