Just days after delivering a chilling prophecy about a looming maritime disaster, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah’s words have seemingly come to pass, following the tragic sinking of a ferry en route to Bali.
Speaking on Onua TV on June 27, 2025, the respected Ghanaian clergyman and leader of the Parliament Chapel International revealed a vision he had received. “I saw myself on the sea,” he said during the live broadcast. “There is fire beneath the sea. If we are not careful, there will be a shipwreck.”
Exactly a week later, the prophecy materialized.
On July 2, a ferry carrying 65 passengers and crew members capsized and sank just before midnight while sailing from Indonesia’s main island of Java to the popular resort destination of Bali.
The tragedy has so far claimed the lives of at least four people, with 31 survivors rescued from the sea. Authorities say 30 individuals are still missing, and rescue efforts are ongoing.
“The ferry tilted and immediately sank,” said Eka Toniansyah, one of the survivors, as he recounted the horrifying ordeal from a hospital in Bali.
Search and rescue teams have been deployed in a race against time to locate the missing passengers, with the incident drawing widespread shock and grief across the region.
The apparent fulfillment of Apostle Amoako Attah’s prophecy has sparked widespread discussion online, with many Ghanaians and international viewers revisiting his Onua TV appearance as a potential warning that went unheeded.
As investigations into the cause of the sinking continue, many are left wondering whether the tragic accident could have been prevented — and whether more attention should be paid to prophetic insights.
