Kojo Siaw who won the first draw in the 2018 Big Millennium Marathon Raffle has expressed his joy and good luck for winning the brand new HP laptop donated by Can-West.
He said the raffle was real, credible, and transparent, urging more people to try their luck and get running for the big day on September 22, 2018 at the Black Star Square.
Asafo Baeta who was also present at the draw took home an HP printer, while Adolfus Rapp Brown got the UPS at stake.
Three lucky registered participants thanked the organizes of the Marathon and Can-West Company, sponsors of the first mini draw.
Kojo Saiw hinted that he will use the HP laptop very well, while Asafo Baeta who won an HP printer said the win has given him hope in life. Adolfus Rapp Brown who got the UPS said he was impressed with the transparency of the draw.
The free and fair draw was conducted by the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) in the presence of the media and the general public.
Joe Buadu of the NLA said they are mandated to approve credible raffle draws and commended the organisers for their innovative strategy to improve the lives of people by offering them the opportunity to win prizes and also run to be healthy as they promote tourism and business.
He said the NLA is proud to be associated with the Millennium Marathon which is in its fourth year.
Ahmed Kadiri, general manager of Can West Ltd told the media the marathon is a good initiative that promotes Ghana and puts the nation on the map of sports.
A representative of Wigal Solutions, the buzz company handling data gathering showed people how they have to register by dialing *800*17# and start the process of chancing upon the brand new Nissan Kicks SUV to be won as the grand prize of the 2018 Big Millennium Marathon event scheduled for September 22, 2018.
Ambassador Ashim Morton, founder of the Millennium Marathon announced that the mini draws would be held bi monthly till September and urged Ghanaians to register on time to stand the chance of winning the other prizes like flat screen TV, iphons, fridges, microwave, sports kits, garmin watches and the car.
