
Swedru Blessed Assurance Preparatory School became winners of a quiz competition organized by the Agona West Directorate of the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE) on the Constitution and Current Affairs for some selected schools in Agona Swedru.
They beat Methodist ”A” Junior High School and Presbyterian ”A” Junior High School to 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
Other competing schools were Salvation Army ”A” Junior High School and A.M.E. Zion ”A” Junior High School.
They were presented with certificates as their prizes.
Established in 2004, Blessed Assurance Preparatory School has grown to become one of the enviable private schools in the town, producing one of the best students in the country, Miss Mavis Appiah who was among the 2016 Presidential Award winners, and is currently at the Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School at Saltpond, studying Science.
