More colour was added to last Saturday’s clean up exercise in Agona Swedru when Swedru based artiste Patapaa, with solidarity from Kumawwood movie actor Yaw Edu, popularly known as Sunsum and a host of other celebrities as well as their fans descended in the gutters to get rid of choked garbage.
Also present at the exercise were the Agona West Constituency Youth Organizer of the NDC Patrick Smith, the aspiring Dep. Youth Organizer of the recently held constituency elections of the NDC
Freebody Mensah, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service in the town who have participated in all the clean up exercises since it was introduced, staff from the Municipal Assembly and the Environmental Health Office, as well as the media and some traditional rulers.
The exercise has continued in the town unabated since its introduction, making Agona Swedru maintaining its spot as the cleanest town in the Central Region.
