The 37 Military Hospital has received consignment of some goods from the Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana to aid in the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
The items which cost millions of Ghana Cedis included twenty (20) boxes of hand sanitizer, fifty (50) boxes of medical examination gloves and five hundred (500) cartons of Awake purified mineral water.
Doing the donation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Chamber, Mr Daniel Krampah said the gesture was to equip the installation officers working on the frontline against Covid19.
He said, the security forces including the Military are in need of these materials to aid them in their work, hence the Chamber’s decision to reach out to them.
Although this is the first donation the Chamber has made towards the fight against Covid19, he believes it will go a long way to augment the already existing donations the hospital has received in that regard.
Mr Daniel Krampah said the virus is now with us as people and therefore there is the need for all to put resources and energies together so as to collectively fight it.
He averred that the protocols and safety measure re put on lace by the health authorities are helping in containing and preventing the virus from spreading.
According to him, it behoves on citizens of o take the safety measures serious and abide by all the laid down protocols.
On his part, Chairman of the Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana, Kwabena Asante-Asare believes that when other individuals and institutions also see the need to support the security forces, they will also give off their best and ensure that they also are protected from contracting the virus.
In an interview with Camp Commandant at the 37 Military Hospital, Lieutenant Kenneth Degboe, who received the items on behalf of the Chief Commandant, he expressed gratitude to Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana for the gesture
He said no amount of donation is too small in times like these and considering the deadly pandemic the nation is fighting against.
According to him, the items donated will go a long way to help in the fight and also help in taking care of patients receiving treatment.
He also stressed the importance of frequent hand washing, the use of alcohol based sanitizer, observing social distancing and adherence to the lockdown protocols.
Lieutenant Kenneth Degboe expressed the hope that the support they are receiving from corporate Ghana as well as individuals towards the fight against Covid19 will yield positive response at the end of the ‘war’.

Chamber of Bullion Traders Supports 37 Hospital In COVID19 Fight

The Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana(CBTG) over the weekend made some donation of Personal Protection Equipments(PPE) and several cartons of mineral water to the 37 Military Hospital as part of their contribution to the ongoing COVID 19 fight.
The items included fifty (50) boxes of medical examination gloves, twenty (20) boxes of hand sanitizers and five hundred (500) cartons of Awake purified mineral water.
During the donation, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Chamber, Mr Daniel Krapah said the gesture was to support the frontline workers in terms of protective gears in the fight against the deadly Corona virus pandemic.
Mr. Krapah noted that although this is the first donation of the Chamber towards the fight against Covid19, they hope and believe that it will go a long way to augment the support the hospital has received so far in that regard..
The CEO of the Chamber admonished saying; “the virus is now with us as people and therefore there is the need for all to put resources and energies together so that we can collectively fight it.”
He also averred that the protocols and safety measures put out there by government and all stakeholders are helping in containing and preventing the virus and therefore all must endeavor to adhere to them to stop the spread.
On his part, Chairman of the Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana, Kwabena Asante-Asare also stated that he is of the firm believe that when other individuals and institutions also see the need to support the front-liners with their widow’s mite in terms of PPE donations it will go a long way to help and boost the morale of the health workers.
In a separate interview with the Camp Commandant at the 37 Military Hospital, Lieutenant Kenneth Degboe, who received the items on behalf of the Hospital, he expressed gratitude to the Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana for their kind gesture

The CHAMBER OF BULLION TRADERS GHANA is a representative body of Government licensed gold dealers, suppliers of mining logistics and consumables, mining services and allied activities in Ghana. It serves as an advocacy, lobby and representative body for the buying and exporting of gold produced by licensed miners in the country.
