The leader of the Kejebi Shrine in the Northern Region, Chief Naatia Salifu, has revealed that the sudden death of one of Ghana’s Dancehall Queens, Ebony Reigns is natural void of any ‘July’s manipulations.
According to the powerful spiritualist, Ebony died a natural death and called on people to stop making frivolous claims that she was used for sacrifice.
The sudden death of the dancehall artist Ebony Reigns was announced early this morning after she passed away in a fatal motor accident.
Ebony was returning from Sunyani after a visit to her family and got involved in a car accident and died at the Bechem Government Hospital together with two others.
Information has it that Ebony was returning to Accra to make preparations for a trip to America.
Meanwhile, few hours of the sad news, information begun spreading that the late artiste was killed.
Whilst some people are claiming that she was attacked spiritually by her own family members who are not ready to see her move forward with her career, others are also of the view that she was killed by her own colleagues in the industry.
A lot of people are saying the industry players use juju on her which led to her sudden but fatal death.
But, the highly recognised spiritualist, Chief Naatia said all assumptions being raised are not correct.
Although he admitted that the use of ‘Juju’ is common in the music and movie industries, Ebony never suffered any.
“Ebony died a natural death. She did not suffer any Juju attack from anybody. We are all in this world on purpose and I can say that she had fulfilled her part on earth,” Chief Naatia said.
He said the world is like a stage and everyone is a player of a particular role and that “one has to leave after playing his or her part.”
According to him, hatred, envy, jealousy and pull-me-down attitude is breeding lots of controversies among celebrities hence people always point Juju as cause of deaths in the industry.
“This shouldn’t be so,” he said.
Chief Naatia Salifu is a philanthropist who has over the years support children, the aged and inmates of witches’ camps in the Northern Region.
His support for the needy and orphans in the communities across the Northern Region has been tremendous and immeasurable.
He however expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
