Electronic Tracking Confirms All BOE 80226125039 Trucks Located — Ghana Link

Ghana Link Network Services Ltd has clarified that all 18 transit trucks linked to Bill of Entry (BOE) 80226125039 have been located and verified, dismissing earlier reports that six of the vehicles had gone missing following an overnight enforcement operation.
In a press statement issued Friday, the company said its electronic tracking system and field verification processes confirmed the real-time locations of all the trucks, including the six previously described in some reports as “missing.”
According to Ghana Link, tracking playback data showed that the trucks were moving along their declared transit route from Akanu to Kulungugu until authorities redirected 11 of the vehicles to the Tema Customs Transit Yard as part of an enforcement action.
The company explained that because the Tema Transit Yard is not part of the original declared transit corridor, the system automatically triggered a route deviation alert. It stressed that the alert should be interpreted as an enforcement-led diversion for control purposes rather than evidence of disappearance.
Ghana Link further disclosed that its field teams physically verified the locations of the six trucks Friday morning. Two were confirmed at Aflao, two at the Aflao–Accra Toll Booth stretch, one at West Point Filling Station in Tsopoli, and another at Galaxy Filling Station in Dowenya. Another truck was verified at Akanu.
The company said the verified information has been formally transmitted to the Customs Division for any further action deemed necessary under the law.
It noted that the emerging details point to an enforcement incident rather than a case of trucks “vanishing.” Eleven trucks were directed to a controlled holding point at the Tema Transit Yard, while the remaining vehicles were traceable and accounted for through electronic tracking and on-ground confirmation.
Ghana Link emphasised that its tracking systems are designed to provide evidence-based visibility over transit movements and eliminate uncertainty in cargo monitoring.
The firm also expressed support for ongoing investigations into suspected breaches of the transit regime by the Ghana Revenue Authority and other relevant state agencies, including National Security.
Reaffirming its mandate, Ghana Link stated that it remains committed to delivering world-class trade facilitation services aimed at strengthening revenue mobilisation, enhancing regulatory compliance, and supporting Ghana’s economic growth.
The clarification comes amid heightened scrutiny over transit trade operations and enforcement actions at Ghana’s ports and border corridors.
