Exposed: Naa Tambia Is Not A Queenmother – Ngleshie Amanfro Stool

Naa Tambia

The Ngleshie Amanfro Stool elders have informed the general public that Ngleshie Amanfro currently has no Queenmother and the “self-imposed” and “land-guard” installed Naa Tambia who is parading herself in that capacity must not be accorded such status whatsoever.

According to Ngleshie Amanfro Stool, it never installed Dina Ansaba Amoah as queenmother and that somewhere in February 2017, Nii Akramah Nyonmor Bei II, legitimate Chief of Ngleshie Amanfro and his elders invited the said Dina Ansaba Amoah in the presence of her husband, where she was made to understand that she cannot continue to carry herself as a queenmother of the community since she had not been properly installed.

The position of the Stool was made clear during a press conference at Ngleshie Amanfro where the Stool Secretary Anthony Nii Armah supported by the Stool Elders stated that “Dina Ansaba Amoah a.k.a Naa Tambia IV is not the queenmother of Ngleshie Amanfro.”

The Stool therefore informed the general public that the rightful Ngleshie Amanfro Stool Kingmakers will in due course; install the rightful person to fill the position as the Queenmother for the Stool.

Dina Ansaba Amoah who was described by the elders as a “stark illiterate,” has in recent times attacked State Security Agencies of compromising their duties and supporting people she claimed to be land guards to be terrorizing the community, after she had failed in her clandestine act to deceive the security agencies and to coerce them into allowing her and her cohorts to continue “stealing and selling” the Ngleshie Amanfro lands, proved futile.

The Stool Secretary who addressed the press conference which was later disrupted by land guards believed to be from the queenmother and the destooled Ngleshie Amanfro Chief, Kwashie Gborlor IV in full glare of some police personnel, revealed that a group of people calling themselves Kwashie Gborlor Family between 1990 and 1992, covertly managed to fraudulently vest the entire Ngleshie Amanfro lands in their name which had before then, remained Ngleshie Amanfro Stool Lands belonging to the seven families which constitute the Ngleshie Amanfro Stool.

He said the so-called Kwashie Gborlor family succeeded in plundering the entire 40.2 square mile Stool lands and made use of the proceeds to the disadvantage of the whole Ngleshie Amanfro community.

He said: “In addition to the selling of the land, they registered large portions of it in their individual names leaving none for future development.”

According to him, between 2009 and 2013, the legitimate Ngleshie Amanfro Mantse led the seven families and dragged the Kwashie Gborlor family to Court for the determination of the true ownership status of the Ngleshie Amanfro lands.

“During the pendency of the case, the Kwashie Gborlor family members in anticipation of a looming danger of losing all they managed to steal, with the possibility of the Court asking them to account to the people of Ngleshie Amanfro developed self-defense approach of installing members of the group as Chiefs, Queenmother, Dzaasetse, Mankrado and the like in order for them to constitute themselves into the very Ngleshie Amanfro Stool they challenged in Court in Suit Number SOL/12/09 to enable them become custodians of the land after they had lost the Court case,” he narrated.

However in April 2013, the High Court entered judgment in favour of Nii Akramah Nyonmor Bei II, but true to their agenda, the Kwashie Gborlor family presented Kwashie Gborlor IV as custodian of the now Ngleshie Amanfro Stool lands to the Lands Commission and Lands Title Registry, both in Accra and Cape Coast.

Meanwhile in October 2016, the Ngleshie Amanfro Stool hauled the destooled Kwashie Gborlor IV and 10 others to Court in Suit Number LD/1362/16 asking the Court to restrict and restrain them from parading and referring to themselves as Ngleshie Amanfro Stool among other reliefs; a case which is still pending.

Anthony Nii Armah enumerated that the Stool after making formal report and petition to the Weija Police Command with all the necessary documentary evidence and Court rulings sought police assistance to retrieve the land from which the Court had granted them custody.

He said: “All the documents were provided to the police before the exercise took off last week Wednesday, March 7, 2018.”

He said the so-called queenmother and the destooled chief, Kwashie Gborlor IV tried all they could to throw dust into the eyes of the police so as to discontinue the exercise but they failed, since the queenmother could not support her claims with documentary evidence, hence she resorted to malign and to launch a smear campaign against the state security agencies.

Anthony Nii Armah however stressed that the Ngleshie Amanfro Stool will continue with the exercise until “every plot of land is brought under the care of the Ngeshie Amanfro Stool,” and called on the so-called queenmother and the destooled chief to respect the rulings of the Court and stop “stealing” the lands as though it is their family property, failure of which will attract legal measures for Contempt.
