The Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has promised to infuse the same energy she used to secure one hundred buses for the nation into the construction of roads in her constituency.
The MP, who is also the Deputy Minister for Transport, said, “I fought tirelessly to secure 100 buses to reduce congestion in our nation,” and she will do the same for roads in the constituency.
Madam Affo-Toffey, on her social media post on Monday, April 13, 2026, tagged “Today’s Agenda: The Big Push!” and said, “As we confront Ghana’s urgent 2026 road infrastructure agenda, we, as one united community, Jomoro! stand strong”.
The Deputy Minister said, “As Member of Parliament for the good people and Deputy Minister for Transport, I fought tirelessly to secure 100 buses to reduce congestion in our nation.”
“By God’s grace, they are now in the country, a testament to our relentless effort, and very soon, they will be unveiled on our roads.”
She said, ‘But that same energy we put into securing these buses, we now bring to the Jomoro roads”.
“The state of our roads is deplorable potholes, danger, and utter neglect. My people have cried out, and I do not take this cry lightly. Over the weekend, we received countless calls, and this week, it is my top priority,” the deputy minister assured.
Madam Affo-Toffey said, “To the good people of Jomoro! I stand firmly with you; together, we press on.”.
“I humbly ask for your continued love, steadfast support, and prayers as we confront this challenge head-on. Be assured our collective hope will not be in vain. The transformation of Jomoro roads is not a distant promise but a reality we are diligently working to deliver”.
