Ghana Muslim Students’ Association Honors Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu for Support in WASSCE Seminar

The President and leadership of the Greater Accra Regional Secretariat of the Ghana Muslim Students’ Association (GSMA) have presented a citation to the President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, for his support in organizing the annual WASSCE seminar for candidates.

 

Zulkarnein Harith, who led the delegation, commended Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu for his financial support in making the seminar a success and urged other business leaders in the Zongo communities to emulate his philanthropic gesture.

 

“On behalf of my executives, we would like to thank Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu for opening his doors to us when we sought funds to organize a seminar for Muslim WASSCE candidates in the Greater Accra region,” said Harith.

 

Receiving the citation on behalf of Ambassador Alhaji Salamu, Mr. Dickson Boadi noted that education is a key priority for the Afro-Arab Group’s president, hence his support for the initiative. He also highlighted Ambassador Alhaji Salamu’s commitment as a Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development.

 

“As we all know, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu is very passionate about education and youth empowerment,” Mr. Boadi remarked. “He believes the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, and his doors are always open for initiatives that empower young people, especially those from the Zongos and inner cities.

 

Additionally, as a Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu is keen to use this platform to encourage the youth in the Zongo communities to participate peacefully before, during, and after the upcoming general elections.”
