GNPC Ghana Fastest Human 2018 To Shake Kumasi

 

Saturday Sept 15, 2018 from 5pm will be the time to start this year’s GNPC Ghana’s Fastest Human 2018 Finals which comes off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

For the first time since we the concerpt began in 2013, there are 3 Categories fans of athletics have been very excited about:-

1) Ladies Under 18, featuring the muscled and strong Issahaku Barikisu from the Northern region versus the 2 Ashanti ladies, Grace Obuor and Gifty Oforiwaa.

2) The Senior Ladies division, between the 2016 overall Champion Kate Agyeman from the Ashanti region, who has the 2nd fastest local time this year and won the Ashanti Open competion and Mary Boakye from the GNPC Speedsters Club in association with Adidas, who won the Accra and Open at Legon with a very fast time. There’s been a silent battle between these two all year abd we can’t wait ti see who gets crowned the Fastest lady in 2018.

3) Then there’s the Senior male category where the race is between 3 people, 17 year old sensation from the GNPC Speedsters Club in association with Adidas, Edwin Gadayi, who has won 2 gold medals and a silver at the Ecowas Under 20 Athletics Championship earlier this year and is being moved up to the Senior division, Ansah Sarfo from UDS, who has the fastest local time this year, repping Ghana at the Commonwealth games AND closely tieing with Gadayi at the Accra Open at Legon and Bukert Oduro Mensah from Ghana Prisons, who beat Gadayi at the Ashanti Open at Paa Joe.

Will one of these three favourites get surprised by Gt Accras’ dark horse and silent assassin, Barnabas, trained by Coach Amuzu?

To find out who wins in these 3 categories, as well as the other 5 categories, must be at the Baba Yara Stadium this Saturday evening. The event would be Under Floodlights, and the it is free gate.

Sprint fans must come to see which local sprinters are going to qualify for Tokyo 2020 and run for Ghana in the years to come.
