GOC and Twellium Industrial Company LTD set for sponsorship agreement signing

Wednesday, May 19th 2021 will see Twellium Industrial Company Limited, producers of Verna Mineral Water and Rush Energy Drink, sign a sponsorship agreement with the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC).

The signing ceremony will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium Media Centre at 11 am.

Chairman of the Marketing and Sponsorship Committee of the GOC, Mr Albert Frimpong, said the two-year deal worth GHC 200,000, would make Twellium, the official Beverage and Water sponsor of the GOC.

Mr Frimpong commended the quick response of Twellium Industrial Company Limited to support Ghana sports and prayed that other companies would come on board to invest in the campaign.

Meanwhile, Toyota Ghana, a sponsor of the Olympic Games and Ashfoam Ghana, will also present packages to the GOC on the same day.

So far, three boxers, three athletes (triple jump, 100m, 200m and the 4x100m team) have qualified to represent Ghana at the quadrennial Games.

Other disciplines like swimming, weightlifting, judo and fencing are also in contention to make it to the Tokyo Games as the countdown continues to the global sports fiesta in Asia.
