As part of effort to complete the construction of a 50-sitter water closet (WC) toilet facility at Gomoa Benso, some non-indigenes of the town have donated materials to support the project.
At a durbar of Chiefs to mark this year’s Annual Akwambo festival of the Chiefs of the town, a Management Consultant and businessman, Mr. Joe Appeah who graced the occasion donated one hundred bags of cement and GH 700.00 Cedis to support the project.
The former District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Mr. Jehu-Appiah also donated GH 400.00 Cedis and promised twenty bags of cement towards the project.
Other benevolent individuals present at the celebration also donated towards the project.
A member of the planning committee of the events, Rev. Anim Addae who spoke to the media after the events thanked all those who contributed to the project, and assured that every donation made would be used for its intended purpose.
