Gomoa Manso To Install New Chiefs

Gomoa Manso in the Central Region is to install three new Chiefs, following the death of the Chief of the town some years ago.

The installation of the new Chiefs is to coincide with the celebration of this year’s Annual Akwambo festival of the Chiefs and people of the town where they will be carried in a palanquin and paraded through the principal streets of the town, as part of the traditional ritual.

The new Chiefs are Mr. George Dadzie, a laboratory technician with Newmont Gh. Ltd. who would be installed as the Chief of the town with stool name Nana Okyeadze Dontoh IX.

The others are Ms. Augustina Arhin, a Principal Nursing Officer at Otoo Memorial hospital at Winneba as the Queen mother with stool name Nana Esi Afedziwa III and Mr. Yirenkyi Dankwa, an educationist as Kyidomhen with the stool name Nana Kojo Arhin III.
