As the NPP presidential primaries draw near on Saturday, January 31, 2026, Dr. Adamu Abdulai, a former aspirant for the NPP parliamentary candidacy in the Lower West Akim Constituency, is urging delegates to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the party’s candidate.
Dr. Abdulai believes that Dr. Bawumia has presented a strong case for his re-election to lead the party, referencing his proposals for ten appointments per constituency, a delegates’ database system, and a constituency-focused budget to address developmental needs.
