Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia vow to win Akyem Oda seat for NDC.

At a rally in Akyem Oda, Birim Central Municipality Eastern Region, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), pledged to support the Akyem Oda NDC in winning the upcoming election.

He emphasized the need for the constituency to regain its lost glory, recalling the achievements of the first MP, Hon. Baah Boateng Abora, an NDC member, who served in the fourth republic.

Asiedu Nketia noted that during Abora’s tenure, Akyem Oda was renowned and frequently mentioned in parliament.

Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia pledged to support NDC in winning the constituency seat, restoring its former glory.

He noted that NPP was founded on the ideologies of Danquah, Busia, and Dombo, and since NDC has already secured the Busia and Dombo strongholds, he aims to capture the Danquah area as well.

Asiedu Nketia advised the people to accept any money offered to influence their votes, but not to compromise their values. He humorously added that even if they’re asked to curse themselves, they should do so, as the money belongs to them and won’t cause harm.
