The Communications Directorate of the Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Tarkwa Nsuaem, Madam Joy Joycelyn Andoh has indicated that, their candidate has no hand in the purported assassination attempt on the incumbent MP, George Mireku Duker.
In a Release issued by the Directorate, there has been some allegations that a group of six (6) assailants purported were to have been sent by Madam Joy Joycelyn Andoh, and her husband to assassinate George Duker. The Incident they claimed happened at Mile 5.
According to the Release, since Madam Joy Joycelyn Andoh declared her intention to contest in the upcoming election as an Independent Parliamentary Candidate there has been several smear attempts on her reputation as well as members of her immediate circle.
“We would like to state unequivocally that Madam Joy Joycelyn Andoh is peaceful minded individual and has over the period exhibited true leadership while being law abiding,” it said and noted that, “The latest attempt to drag her name into this fake assassination attempt should therefore be disregarded. She’s focused on wrapping up her campaign that will see her securing an overwhelming victory to send her to Parliament by January 7, 2021.”
The Communications Directorate however assured all their supporters and loved ones to stay calm and be informed that Madam Joy Joycelyn Andoh is resolute and engrossed in working assiduously for the task ahead.
