Stefan Ristic a Serbian national has been appointed head coach of Akim Oda Kotoku Royals.
The Serbian Coach is to ensure that the team qualifies to play in the Ghana Premier League.
The Serbian who was born in Jagodina had stints with SC Waterloo, Aljazeera, Defines and FC Elva.
Kotoku Royals currently lies 3rd position on the Ghana 1st Division Zone 3 league log and they are looking forward to qualify to the premier league.
Coach Stefan Ristic is expected to manage the Kotoku Royals’ Senior Team ,Second Division, The Female Team and the Academy.
Coach Stefan Ristic in an interview with the media stated that he is coming to help Kotoku Royals climb up to participate in the premier league and also other tournaments.
According to him he is satisfied with the players and coaches in the camp adding that he will work hand in hand with them to make sure they achieve their target.
He urged the supporters to incessantly throw their supports behind the team to cheer them up.
The Chairman of Kotoku Royals who doubles as the Eastern Regional RFA Chairman Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah said they support the Coach to succeed in his work.
He promised to give the Coach the needed support that will get him do his work. people of Akyem enclave.
He encouraged the supporters to be consistent in their support.
