The aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Gomoa Central Constituency, Mr. John Kweku Donkoh has advised members of the party aspiring to contest positions in the up-coming Constituency elections, including incumbent executives to emulate the peaceful nature of the ongoing polling station elections, and desist from any acts that could mar the elections.
Referred to as Commanding Officer (C.O.) for his organizational abilities, and considered the favourite for the Chairmanship position by majority of supporters of the party in the Constituency, Mr. John Kweku Donkoh described the ongoing polling station elections as fair and smooth-sailing, despite some few isolated skirmishes in some areas, he admitted.
According to him, the 2020 general elections should be taken with all the seriousness that it deserves by the NPP, and has therefore admonished both supporters and members of the party to vote for people who have the zeal and commitment to work to ensure that the party retains power, in the up-coming Constituency elections.
He gave the advice during the election of polling stations executives of the party at Gomoa Beseadze in the Central Region.
Commenting on criticisms by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo performed miserably in his answers to some of the questions during his encounter with the media, Mr. Donkoh noted that those criticism are nothing more than an attempt to score cheap political points by the NDC.
According to him, Nana Akuffo-Addo performed far beyond expectation during his encounter, and needs to be commended by all.
