Let’s give help to the ophans: Rev. Safo Kantanka Appea.

The District Head Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Akyem Oda in the Birim Central Municipality Eastern Region, Rev. Safo Kantanka Appea has encouraged everyone to give back to the needy, especially when the need arises.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new executives of Ensuro Muoa Kuo, he emphasized that towns with orphanages have God’s special attention.

According to him, there is greater blessing in giving to orphans, and he urged everyone to cultivate a habit of donating to them.

Rev. Kantanka also advised the new executives to serve the group with dedication, be God-fearing, and commit to their duties.

He encouraged them to give their all to the service of the association.

Mrs. Salomey Anarfi, President of Ensuro Muoa Kuo, explained that as the association celebrated its 25th anniversary, they decided to build an orphanage home in Akyem Oda to care for orphans in the municipality.

She noted that the association’s priority is not just social functions but also giving back to society.

Despite the absence of an orphanage home in the Birim Central Municipality, there are many orphans in need of help.

After consulting with the Department of Social Welfare, they deemed it wise to build a shelter to care for these orphans.

Ing. Evangelist Maxwell Essel advised the association to visit other institutions running orphanages to learn from their experiences as they establish their own.

He encouraged the new executives to work hard, promising that God would bless them. According to him, caring for orphans brings greater blessings.
