The Chief of Agona Kwanyako in the Central Region and Kyidomhen of the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area, Odeefo Dr. Ampim Darko V has admonished people of the two Agona States (Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area and Agona Nsaba Traditional Area) not to allow their traditional barriers to divide them, under any circumstance, but rather maintain the cordial relationship between the two paramouncies.
He gave this admonition when the paramount Chiefs of the two traditional areas attended the Annual Akwambo festival of Agona Kwanyako over the weekends.
He however praised the two paramount Chiefs for working together in harmony to promote peace in both areas, as he said, that does not happen in other jurisdictions.
“We must first of all see ourselves as Agona’s without any barrier, before anything else” he stressed.
