Maestro Kojo Antwi’s late mother goes home on Saturday

Mortal remains of the mother of Ghana and African Musician, the Maestro Kojo Antwi, will be laid to rest on Saturday, July 11, 2025.

The Maestro’s his beloved mother, Madam Mary Adwoa Nyamaa, passed away on November 13, 2024, at the Mpraeso General Hospital in the Eastern Region.

The final funeral rite will be held at Presbyterian School at Obo-Kwahu in the Eastern Region.

There will be loads of music a tribute to the memory of the mother, sister, auntie, grandmother, and above all, a God-fearing woman.

Late Mary Adwoa Nyamaa was 100-years.
Maestro Kojo Antwi acknowledged that his late mother was the inspiration behind his iconic song, “Bre Bre Anowaa” on the “To Mother Africa Album” released in 1996.

He has 13 albums to his credit, with “Bre Bre Anowaa” song being one of his most successful songs in Ghana and Africa at large.

The Maestro had two albums with his band called the Classique Vibes.
Kojo Antwi, popularly known as “Mr. Music Man” is the 4th born of his mother.

Madam Mary Adwoa Nyamaa had nine children in all, but unfortunately, three are deceased, remining six. Timothy Antwi-Otoo|3news.com|Ghana
