The Gomoa Manso branch Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Edward Hagan has commended the Member of Parliament for Area, Mrs. Naana Eyiah Quansah for single-handedly initiating the construction of a 10-sitter ultra-modern water closet toilet facility for the town.
When completed, this will make her the first-ever politician to embark on any developmental project for the town, since independence.
The 3-kilometer stretch of road linking the town to Gomoa Ekwamkrom constructed by an indigene of the town many years ago becomes unmotorable, especially during the rainy season.
At the launching of this year’s Annual Akwambo Festival of the town which begins in September, the Mankrado who is also the Acting Chief of the town, Nana Kwame Arhin IV promised to name the facility after the MP, Mrs Naana Eyiah Quansah, when completed.
