A young Nigerian entrepreneur, Azome Victoria Okubo-Ere, has been inducted as a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT-Ghana).
She was inducted into CILT-Ghana at the Institute’s recent Seminar and Annual General Meeting held at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra.
Azome Victoria Okubo-Ere begun her Supply Chain and Logistics and Transport education at the Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA) where she obtained her Diploma in Logistics and Transport.
She also holds an International Diploma, a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from GIMPA and Certificate in Public Relations also from GIMPA. The dynamic Azome Victoria Okubo-Ere is currently pursuing her MSc.
Azome Victoria Okubo-Ere before joining the CILT, is the General Manager of Azobemors Shipping Company Nigeria Ltd., a family business set up by her father some 30 years ago.
The Azobemors Shipping Company Nigeria Ltd., is one of the leading shipping companies in Nigeria doing massive achievements in shipping agency services, maritime services and chardling services.
Speaking to her in an interview after her induction into CILT-Ghana, Azome Victoria Okubo-Ere expressed enthusiasm and indicated that her membership into CILT-Ghana will afford her wide opportunities to learn and broaden her knowledge in the Logistics and Transport sector.
According to her, CILT-Ghana will give her the opportunity upgrade herself so as to bring her expertise and knowledge to bear on the role she is playing in her father’s company where she serves as the General Manager.
