The Northern Regional Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated all candidates, especially winners in the just ended delegates Congress in Koforidua.
The youth wing also commended losers in the race for conceding defeat and expressing commitment to work in unity to see the party stay in power for a long time.
“We congratulate the good delegates and party executives from all constituencies across the country for travelling from far distances in their constituencies to the Eastern Regional capital to elect our new party executives who would steer the affairs of our party in the next four years,” they stated in a press release.
The release which was signed by Ghana Alhassan, Northern Regional Youth Organizer of the party, they averred that they have no doubt that the newly elected officers shall work to achieve even more of what the outgone officers have achieved by bringing the party into power.
“Our special and most important congratulations goes to our boss, Henry Nana Boakye(Nana B) on his election to lead us at the youth wing. We have no doubt that Commander Nana B as a youth wing member who has been engaged in youth wing activism for many years would bring his experience coupled with good communication and innovation skills to bare, for the youth wing to excel beyond where he took it.”
They have pledged their unflinching support for commander Nana B to help him realize all his good plans for the youth wing.
They also congratulated former Capo, Sami Awuku, under whose leadership the youth wing was massively transformed and we won power.
He said: “Commendations goes again to his two deputies, Dominic Eduah and Salam Mustapha for helping him realize his goal with a very well structured youth wing.
Your efforts shall always be remembered.”
“We also than thank all the out gone party officers for their selflessness, zeal and enthusiasm for bringing the party into power when we were in the state of hopelessness. As posited by the president, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, your names should be plated with gold for your super efforts of helping the party into power.”
They averred that they as the Northern Regional Youth Wing have pledged their unflinching support to “our newly elected national executives and urge all party faithfuls to stand by them and support them to realize the project of the government and the party as well.”
