ODASCO Headmaster called for support.

The Headmaster of Akyem Oda Senior High School (ODASCO) in the Birim Central Municipality, Eastern Region, Mr. Eric Amoah, has appealed to the government to address the school’s infrastructure challenges, particularly the inner roads, dormitory and furnitures.

Speaking to the media after his induction ceremony, Mr. Amoah emphasized that resolving these issues would enable the school to implement a single-track system.

Mr. Amoah, who joined ODASCO from Achiase Senior High School, pledged to replicate his previous successes at Achisec to ODASCO.

Noting that there is currently no Category “A” school in the Akyemansa enclave, he expressed his commitment to working with stakeholders to elevate the school to Category “A” status.

Furthermore, Mr. Amoah called on the government to employ more non-teaching staff, such as security personnel and laborers, to ensure the school’s effective operation.

Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, Member of Parliament for Akyem Oda constituency, assured the school of his support in addressing security concerns.

He acknowledged the challenges associated with the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy and the efforts made by the NPP government to address them.

Hon. Acquah criticized the NDC’s stance on Free SHS, citing President John Dramani Mahama’s previous statements on the policy.

He argued that the NDC’s difficulties in maintaining Free SHS demonstrate their inability to effectively manage the policy, and vowed not to allow them to scrap it.
